The thing to understand about Hearthstone is that it's a very, very casual game. If you are a parent, I would definitely prevent your kids from spending money on this unless you want to go broke. These days I can usually get to lvl 19 just by using the premade "basic" decks from the various classes. The new cards are infinitely better than the old cards - So unless you are on the money treadmill you will lose A LOT. I can definitely see how people are frustrated by this game if you are brand new or cannot spend money on it. I have never invested any money, and have yet to complete the original "classic" card set - However I am close.
